Coaching for Aliveness
Our next Career Coach SIG meeting will be on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM ET on telebridge 712-432-3900 PIN 6451310#. My co-host, Ron Paxton, and I are delighted to announce that our speaker will be Fehrunnisa Moore, MCC. She will be present “Coaching for Aliveness.” If you can’t attend the call, a recording will be available within a few days.
Fehrunnisa will discuss the use of Values Assessments as springboards for coaching conversations that explore:
1) Life priorities- “What drives my Life?”
2) Energizing or re-vitalizing one’s life- “What creates Energy? What generates a sense of Aliveness?”
3) Honoring one’s True Work- “What supports my Purpose?”
Fehrunnisa will present three values instruments that she has used in working with her clients over the past fifteen years as a coach. The reports generated from these assessments provide a wealth of content for coaching that extends well beyond an initial debrief. The insights the client and coach gain from focusing on values underpins the internal motivation or drivers for living a deeply satisfying life: a life worth living AND a life in which one feels ALIVE.
- istinctions of three popular values assessments: the PIAV (Target Training International), the MVPI (Hogan Leadership Forecast), the Values Perspective Survey (Kairios)
- Low values relate to behavioral drivers, personal energy levels, and true work.
- How to derive developmental arenas from values assessment reports, and how to leverage these developmental areas for extended coaching engagements.

About Alive Coaching
Fehrunnisa adds “I believe all beings desire to express their true self. It is my calling to engage clients in discovering the answers to: ‘who is my real self?’ and ‘what is my true work?’ and then support them in their authentic expression of that. My true work is to coach clients in connecting with their true self, in increasing their performance potential and in progressing toward their aspirations. In other words, my mission is to guide those who thirst for aliveness and fulfillment through core inner work. I want to help others experience happiness. To be a coach is a deep honor for it is to be an intimate ally in another’s noble quest for meaningfulness. To be a coach is to be a partner with another human in the discovery and the embodiment of who they really are, fostering their authentic expression and spiritual awakening in life.”
