Dear Career Coaches,
Our next Career Coach SIG meeting will be on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM ET on telebridge 712-432-3900 PIN 6451310#. My co-host, Ron Paxton, and I are delighted to announce that our speaker will be Syble Solomon executive coach and founder of Money Habitudes (http://www.moneyhabitudes.com) who will present “Money Habitudes: How Money Habits and Attitudes Influence Our Careers.”
Why do some people stay in dead end jobs? Why are some people uncomfortable charging for their services? Why do some people jump on business opportunities while others hesitate? Understanding your and your clients’ habits and attitudes (habitudes) about money can provide those answers. Your habitudes silently support or sabotage your career path and the way you conduct your business. Because money is so closely linked with other big issues which can be emotional hot buttons – like security, status, success and love – becoming aware of or making your clients aware of their money habitudes can provide surprising insights to help you and your clients resolve work and life challenges.
Syble will address questions such as:
Where do our habits and attitudes about money come from?
What are the most common money habitudes?
Why is it important for coaches to know their own money habitudes?
· How can knowing a client's money habitudes be beneficial when doing
